Jason just keeps dealing aces. Such beautiful scenarios. Fun, hip songs with uplifting messages. It’s hard to put Jason’s music in a category. So many rhythms. The rhythm and rhyme keep Jason on the top of my rapper list. See you at the Jacob’s pavilion in August. All the best.

Mr Jason mraz, I love all of your music and love the album before this album called know and love every song on the know album. I love the reggae music vibe on this album and love the positive messages and songs on this album as look for the good album and know album is as good as your songs like the freedom song, living in the moment and other great songs like have it all, unlonely, making it up, might as well dance and love is still the answer as these songs are fantastic songs but all the songs on the know and look for the good albums are great. Keep bringing these good music vibes and good messages in your albums to come and keep the reggae vibe and happy vibe going in your new albums to come hopefully as i would miss hearing the good music that has come from you on every song on the know album as well as the look for the good album. Keep the good messages and good music vibes coming as i love the great music indeed. You are a great music icon for me and i hope that the good messages and good music keeps coming.

I love the album, but I wish it were a DVD, as Jason is not only a great musician, but is a tremendous entertainer!

This is the kind of internal message and musical vibration which will open up your super power of love and connection. Instead of divide and conquer we unite and thrive. I love this human being for embracing this and sharing it with the world. I go to the music and concerts for therapy and as a therapist i have played Jason Mraz's videos in groups. To see the spring in people's step is awesome. Thank you!!!!!!

Jason Mraz did not disappoint with this CD. The only criticism that I have is that it is too short! More uplifting, positive music please. I love the Regae vibe! Your forever fan

Look For The Good is music for the soul. Jason takes us on an acoustic reggae romp with his forward thinking messages. The themes on this album are quite simple, but easily forgotten in a world where we keep ourselves so busy and so dependent on our devices. He perfectly sets the tone with the title song, which kind of serves as a mission statement for the project. "Make Love" holds the listener responsible for self destructing thoughts. "My Kind" deals with breaking down the walls and realizing we're all much more similar than we are different. "Good Old Daze" serves as the soundtrack to your perfect day and suggests making the most of every moment on a not so perfect day. "You Do You", which features Tiffany Haddish, talks about walking in your truth and accepting others walking in theirs. I'm pretty sure "Wise Woman" was written specifically for his wife. He's celebrating everything about her . "Take The Music" is a love song to music itself. I personally like his 2013 version of this song more, but this take on it helps it fit in with the other songs on the album. "Time Out" touches on taking those moment to chill and reset. I'll skip to the final song, "Gratitude", which has Jason talking about having every person and event in his life contributing to where he is as a person today. While highlighting some of the songs on the album, I've over simplified it, but rest assure Jason perfectly walks the line of making this song personal to him, but also making them accessible and relatable to any listener. I've been vibing with this album all summer and it refreshes me with every listen. I'd like to think it'll do the same for anyone else who gets it.

This album takes the sounds you hear from a Mraz concert (the reggae hippiness vibe reminiscent of Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds) and reproduces it beautifully on vinyl, CD or however you are listening to it. The album definitely has that regge feel to it which makes it a great listen in certain environments, such as the beach or lounging around, but not so much in others. It’s not something you can listen to the whole thing in a car or all in one sitting unless you’re in the right mood. It needs the island environment or to be thrown into a mix of different music. While Look for the Good is the lead-off single, there is no single track that stands out as a breakthrough song. It may garner respect for its styling but is unlikely to gain newer fans outside of the reggae genre. As an album, Look For the Good delivers exactly what its goal is - the lyrics push you towards a better place and a better you. You feel better listening to it, a great accomplishment, just like how you feel coming out of a live Mraz concert. Some of the songs are updates to older live tunes (Good Old Daze, TimeOut), turning them on their ear from their acoustic origins yet they fit really well in this laid-back sound. The updated version of Take the Music (a bonus reggae-style track from an earlier album) still sounds as fresh as the original. Gratitude keeps Jason’s trend of a strong drawn out anthem at the end of the album. The entire band strengthens these tracks - the back of the CD notes “a reflection of Jason Mraz and Friends” - and that is how the album balances each sound from the drums, guitars to the horns. Certain tracks fall back into more of a typical Mraz skat style - DJ FM AM JSON stands out in this regard - but the bulk of album simply floats along, inoffensive and emanating positive messages and good vibes.

As is typical with Jason's lyrics, the songs are uplifting and affirming. My favorite is Wise Woman. It speaks to all of us who find joy and peace in tending plants. It honors Mother Earth and the healers who work with Her herbs. And the reggae beat is perfect. Thank you!!
